HAN Wei

Prof. Han Wei is Vice Director of Eye Center, the Second Affiliated Hospital, Zhejiang University. He has been engaged in ophthalmic clinical, research, and teaching duties for nearly 30 years. He obtained his PhD from the Zhejiang University and Hong Kong Polytechnic University Joint-supervised PhD program in 2002. He specializes in cataract and refractive surgeries. His research interests include cataract and refractive surgery, ocular diseases-related autophagy and apoptosis, and AI applications in ophthalmology. He is the grant holder of three National Natural Science Foundations, two State Key Research Projects, and more. He is also the winner of the Zhejiang Science-technology Prize for two times.
